Lucas's Car 1003

I know the old thread was pulled some time back when it got into bashing the restoration shop that was working on it, but does anyone know the update on how it is going with the car itself? The website only shows old photos of the car and one that is a few months back. Just wondered the status. Thanks, Eric

There was an article in the newspaper a few months back about it being delivered to the new owners at the Auburn car show, but no information as to who the owners were.

Web Search Information on 1003

Interesting short video of the car on YouTube:

http://www.classiccar.com/garage/blog/i ... ation.html

As for who owns it now:

Tucker number 1003 formerly owned by George Lucas sold at auction in September 2005 for $385,000 and is now owed by Dean Kruse of Kruse International.

Check the video out. Could use more in-depth coverage of the restoration but it is what it is I guess. I wonder if Classic Muscle has a video they can share.

I think that was Tuckerfan's video. And I thought Dean Kruse bought it, hence its delivery at his auction in Auburn.

Kruse did buy it, but he's since resold the car.
